Editing Pedigree Layout

The pedigree layout is automatically computed, therefore altering the position of individuals manually is not possible. The “Automatic layout” button in the top bar will reorder individuals in the pedigree to remove line overlaps and display the pedigree in the simplest possible form, but this button may not result in a pedigree that looks different from the original if the layout is already optimized.

You can assign generation numbers to all individuals in the pedigree with the “Renumber” button in the top toolbar under “More”.
