Update a patient record using an external identifier. If the eid in the uploaded patient record is different, it will overwrite the existing eid. If the specified patient record doesn't exist a new patient record will be created with the given external identifier. If a field is set in the existing patient record, but missing in the provided JSON, then that field is not changed.
